University of Engineering and Technology Lahore is glad to announce short technical training courses totally free of cost for those looking to enhance their skill pool. It is a combined initiative of Al-Khawarzami Institute of Computer Science and Punjab Skills Development Fund (PSDF). It is a golden chance for those who for some reason or the other couldn’t continue with their higher education or lagging behind in life. By availing this opportunity they can make themselves an able and useful member of the society.
The trainings that have been offered include Mobile Application Development, Web Designing and Development, Applied Instrumentation and Control Automation and Solar Photovoltaic Installation and Pumping. These courses are minimum three months to 1 year long, during which the selected applicants are not only provided with free training but also with a stipend and uniform. Those who leave the course in between would be required to pay off full course fee as a penalty. However, there are some eligibility criteria to apply for these certifications. In order to apply for any of these programs the candidate must at least be a qualified matriculate with Sciences as major; however candidates holding F.sc. degree or DAE diploma will be preferred over others. Candidates who have previously done any training courses via PSDF are not eligible. Only those holding Punjab domicile are eligible for these courses
