GAT – SUBJECT (Subject Wise Graduate Assessment Test for Ph. D Students)

National Testing Service is a regulatory body which takes assessment tests on national level. The advantages of the tests are that they show how much students are good in assessments (vocabulary, logical reasoning, analytical reasoning etc.), second, it is important for taking the admissions in the high merit universities plus higher degrees etc. Most private and public sector higher education institutions rely on the assessments tests taken by NTS and they are also vital for availing the different scholarships.

Test date

This time, the NTS assessment test is being held on Sunday, 19th November 2017. The validity of the test score is two years.

Who can apply?

  • Candidates with minimum eighteen years of education are eligible to apply.
  • Students who have taken the test previously can improve their previous GAT subject score by reappearing in the test.
  • Result awaiting candidates are also eligible to apply for GAT subject.

Application submission process

Following are the three steps to get the assessment opportunity, candidates who have already registered themselves with NTS will proceed from step 3.

  1. Interested candidates need to visit NTS website and register online by creating their profile on datacell.nts.org.pk or visit www.nts.org.pk for further instructions.
  2. All candidates are required to provide their photographs with full face exposure. Applications with inappropriate pictures will not be entertained.
  3. Deposit the test fee of rupees 1500/- only through prescribed deposit slip at any branch of the designated banks across Pakistan.

Please note

  • Last date of submission of the applications is 23rd, October 2017.
  • Late applications will be rejected.
  • Test fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.
  • Applications by hands will not be entertained.
