The Commission for Science and Technology for Sustainable Development in the South (COMSATS) is an international organization which is established for the reduction of the ever growing gap between the developed and developing world through useful applications of Science and Technology.
COMSATS was established in 1998 as a project of inter-govt. organization with 21 member states in three continents. Some of the states include Pakistan, China, Iran, Philippines, and Uganda etc. Currently, it has a status of a public sector degree awarding higher education institution with a given charter of Federal Government in the year 2000.
Admissions for the Spring session 2018 are opened in COMSATS. The campuses include Islamabad, Abbottabad, Lahore, Attock, Wah, Sahiwal and Vehari campuses where various admissions in Undergraduate, Graduate and Postgraduate programs are offered. The application procedure is very easy. The following three initial steps must be followed.

The following timelines must be considered
For Islamabad, Abbottabad, and Lahore campuses
15th December 2017. Last date for submission of application.
24th December 2017. NTS (NAT), GAT (General) and GAT (Subject) Special Tests will be taken.
3rd January 2018. Display of merit list.
6th February 2018. Commencement of classes in Lahore and Islamabad campuses.
5th March 2018. Commencement of classes in Abbottabad campus.
For Wah, Attock and Sahiwal campuses
22nd December 2017. Last date for submission of application.
30th December 2017. NTS (NAT), GAT (General) and GAT (Subject) Special Tests will be taken.
10th January 2018. Display of merit list.
6th February 2018. Commencement of classes.
