After a dramatic and tiresome season of MDCAT and NUMS entry test (For Army Institutions) where our ‘hardworking’ students performed what they could do at their full potential. The season for MBBS admissions for the session 2017-2018 has started. Here’s a first cookie.
CMH Multan Institute of Medical Sciences (CIMS) Multan has opened its admissions for MBBS where students can apply and get a chance to adopt this honorable profession to serve the humanity.
The admissions in this institution are based on NUMS entry test. Every candidate who is interested in getting admission in CMS Institute must be passed in NUMS entry test which was conducted on 27th of August 2017.
SAT II Exam (For foreign / overseas Pakistani candidates)
If PM&DC policy permits, the merit calculation will be done on the basis of SAT II exam in place of NUMS entry test for foreign seats. However, the local students who are competing on the basis of SAT II, appearing in NUMS entry test is mandatory.
Minimum 60% marks in F. Sc. (Pre-Medical) or Intermediate equivalent qualification.
NUMS entry test. (Mandatory for local candidates).
SAT II with Biology, Chemistry as compulsory subjects with 550 minimum scores in each subject (Mandatory for Overseas Pakistani and Foreign candidates).
Provisional Merit List
Display of merit list has been planned till 17th November, 2017 onward (in case dates of applications not extended).
Interview for short listed candidates has been scheduled on 20th November (in case dates of applications not extended).
Prospectus is available in the admission office of the institution from 1st of November to 10th of November 2017. However it can be downloaded along with admission form from the official website www.cims.pk. A candidate applying to local and foreign seats will have to purchase separate forms for each category.
The last date to apply is 15th November along with all supporting documents.
Forms must be submitted before deadline by hand to minimize any risk which is associated by mail.
In case PM&DC / NUMS issue any new or additional admission criteria/instructions, CIMS Multan Admission policy will be governed by PM&DC / NUMS admission regulation prevalent on the date of admissions. If PM&DC decides not to entertain SAT II exam for local students, the admission on the local seats will be conducted on the basis of NUMS entry test only.
