Information Technology University, Arfa Software Technology Park, Lahore is organizing a TEDxITU’17 event.

TEDx events are organized to share the creative and dynamic ideas and experiences that changed the lives of the people who undertook the risks and changed their space making it profitable and interesting.

This amazing event has been organized on 16^th of September 2017. The uniqueness of this event is that they are coupled with pictures, videos and the discussions on a large number of topics.

Never heard of TED before?

TED is devoted to spread ideas that are worth spreading! and that’s best brief introduction to it. It is a non- profit organisation, which spread the ideas usually in the form of short talks, say, talks that are 10 to 20 minutes long. TED began in 1984 as a conference where Technology, Entertainment and Design converged, and today it covers almost all topics — science, technology, psychology, social issues, business, health etc. to name a few, and  in more than 110 languages.

What is TEDx Then?

TEDx comes under the umbrella of TED. It supports independent organizers who want to create a TED-like event in their own community. Just like the one you are reading about, i.e. Information Technology University (ITU) is independently organizing and hosting this even called TEDxITU. TEDx events are planned and coordinated independently, under a free license granted by TED.
