Negotiation Skills

Negotiation is a dialogue between two or more parties intended to reach a beneficial outcome. Negotiation occurs in business, non-profit organizations, government branches, legal proceedings, among nations, and in personal situations such as marriage, divorce, parenting, and everyday life.

Office of Research Innovation & Commercialization (ORIC) at COMSATS Islamabad is conducting a one day training workshop on Professional Development of Effective Negotiation Skills.

Workshop Goals:

Goal of this workshop is to gain deeper insight into the process of negotiation, to develop one’s negotiation and persuasion abilities and to learn how to effectively manage one’s environment for positive outcomes. Effective negotiation skills are crucial for one’s success whether seeking resources for a team or a project or negotiating high value deals. This one day event comprises of interactive lectures as well as assignments and in-class training and will comprehensively cover every facet of the process of effective negotiation. After attending this workshop all participants should have a firm grasp on how to deal with difficult situations, handling difficult people and interpersonal conflicts, creating value for both the individual as well as any organization.
